Hi mama, I'm Paris. I am a Californian with Jewish heritage and roots spanning the Mediterranean, Europe, and South Africa. After traveling the world far and wide in my mid 20’s, I created a family and gave birth to our first son in Denver, Colorado. Now, my family has expanded once more with our second son being born at home here in Santa Rosa, CA. I'm an artist, a dancer and have the deepest passion for movement of all kinds.
Mother Ruckus was born out of a dark period in my life. It emerged from a deep need and longing for genuine mama-sister-wife friends, and missing going out to dance my heart out. With a background in movement, events and a deep passion for music…Mother Ruckus was born.
Movement is healing, movement is medicine, and above all, dancing your ass off with other moms who understand all our seasons of life is a priceless, magical and a deeply nourishing experience. We all know the transformative power of being in the presence of other moms/women, and taking a moment for ourselves to recharge our souls to remember who we are and how far we have come.
